(Marathon, FL) — “C” is for “cook-aine!”

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office in Florida says an officer found a blue Cookie Monster doll during a traffic stop on Wednesday, and thought it felt a little heavy. He found a slit cut in the doll and 314 grams of cocaine stashed inside. The deputy initially stopped the car because the license plate was shrouded and the windows were tinted so dark he couldn’t see inside.

When McNair rolled down his window, Deputy Swilley could smell the odor of marijuana coming from inside the car. A search of the vehicle turned up a backpack. Inside the backpack was a blue “Cookie Monster” doll. Deputy Swilley noticed the doll seemed to weigh more than it should have. He took a closer look and found a slit cut in the doll. Inside the doll were two packages containing what turned out to be a total of 314 grams of cocaine. –  MCSO – Florida Keys

The man was charged with trafficking cocaine. Cookie Monster however was released without any charges.
