This is probably the most iportant video I’ve shared in a very long time. Facebook has dug it’s claws in to the web video world and is giving youtube a serious run for the competition, however it’s not at all true, or honest.

Creators work hard, and the difference between what we want to do and what we can do is often based on our previous successes. You work for hours, often days, even weeks to put together a great video. And in just a few seconds someone can rip it off youtube and upload it on their own facebook page with no attribution or credit going to the creator.

So what can we do as creators of video content?

Watermark all our videos with obnoxious images/logos/urls, etc?

File a class action law suit against the social networking giant?

Run to the windows and scream I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore?!

Just cross our fingers and hope it all works out?

Let me know what you do as a content creator to fight pirating of your videos?
