Furniture Designed to Look and Feel Like Giant Testisticles
In what can only be described as a line inspired by Ed Gein, UK artist Gigi Barker has created the world’s first furniture set made to look, feel, and creep people out just like human skin! However, according to New York Magazine, these seats are “meant to mimic a squishy roll of fat and footstools that resemble deformed testes”. Who would want these inside their homes at all is beyond me. Yet, even more shocking would be those who are willing to pay the $775 price tag for the footstool or $2,550 for the chair! Forget that refrigerator, what you need is your own elephantitus-infected scrotum to rest your feet on while you play Grand Theft Auto.
Look at these and try not to cringe…
The furniture has also been infused with human pheromones and aftershave. Why? What are we achieving here besides giving future lunatics a cover story for their furniture made out of real human skin?? Even worse, super rich lunatics that could potentially afford to buy expensive, ball sack furniture. Adding to the oddness of this whole thing, the artist told WIRED magazine that “children have been one of the most interesting demographics in relation to the work”. According to Gigi Baker, since kids don’t know that they look like balls, they’re more free to explore the furniture than grown-ups with “hang ups”. I suppose Baker has a point but… can’t they just finger paint or something?http://www.samproof.tv/2014/07/28/furniture-designed-to-look-and-feel-like-giant-testisticles/https://i0.wp.com/www.samproof.tv/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/slide_359380_4005826_free.jpg?fit=1024%2C683https://i0.wp.com/www.samproof.tv/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/slide_359380_4005826_free.jpg?fit=150%2C100Weird Newsart, balls, blog, blogger, comedy, funny, furniture, gigi baker, human skin,News, weirdIn what can only be described as a line inspired by Ed Gein, UK artist Gigi Barker has created the world's first furniture set made to look, feel, and creep people out just like human skin!
